The 2009 edition of the International Festival of Mountain, Travel and Adventure Literature is taking place from June 14 – July 19. The festival will be in Verbania during the last week of June and will transfer to the Cusio and Ossola valleys during weekends in July.

Photographic exhibitions at the Forte
Summer continues with great events at the Forte of Exilles. From 20 July to 20 September, two photographic exhibitions on the mountain. The first one is a tribute to the photographer from Torino Cesare Giulio, the second one to the Piedmontese Alps.
The new Juvarriani Gardens
As of June 26th, a new area will embellish the Gardens at the Reggia di Venaria with the opening of the Gran Parterre Juvarriano. The 60,000 square metre area extends south of the Galleria Grande (Grand Gallery) and is visible again with the volumetry and appearance envisioned by 18th-century architect Juvarra.
Saturday NightBuster
Starting June 19th, Torino will be emulating Berlin or Paris and enhancing its nights – every Friday, Saturday and any holiday eve – with night bus services designed to link together the main locations of this city’s movida.
