From Armeno to Stresa - about 14 Km
Leaving the town, follow the signs for Sovazza-Stresa until joining the Agnona Valley road which goes downhill. Upon reaching Sovazza and after a slight climb, go along an almost level road in the valley alongside pastures and woods full of chestnut trees.
After having gone past the Agogna stream, go towards the Erna stream. Once you have gone over a high bridge, you arrive in Gignese. Continue on along a downhill road towards Stresa.
From Arona to Dagnente - about 4 Km
Leaving Piazza del Popolo, travel for a short distance along the highway.
Continuing left along a secondary road that goes up over a hill with a view of the lake, you come to a statue of San Carlone. From the large square carry on until you reach Dagnente, a village with an excellent view of the lake.
