From Col Basset to the Great Salbertrand Forest
about 45 minutes
Leave the car in Basset and follow the road down the slopes of Val Chisone enjoying the excellent view of Val Troncea.
At Col Bourget cross to the other side. Then continue along the path, which is almost level, until the Colle Costa Piana hill. After crossing the last part of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand the landscape opens up and it is possible to see the whole of the Val di Susa.
