From the Eremiti Pass to Mt. Tobbio - Capanne di Marcarolo Nature Park

Leave the car at the Eremiti Pass and follow the path along a pine wood. As the path climbs upwards, the wood thins out and the walk continues through alpine pastures. The final part of the path has several tight bends and is more demanding. At the top of Mt. Tobbio, there are beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There is also a small church dedicated to "Our Lord of Caraggio".
From Capanne di Marcarolo to Pra’ Caban - Capanne di Marcarolo Nature Park
walking time - about 4 hours
Walk through the town of Capanne di Marcarolo and turn right at the Campo Ligure crossroads. Leave the car and carry on up the street on the right. Continue until reaching a clearing and the road becomes a mule-track. It is worth stopping here to enjoy a stunning view of Ovada-Monferrato. Carry on until the top of Pra’ Caban.
