Agriculture and animal breeding, especially cows, run the engine of development for this town in Cuneo’s plain. A few kilometers from town, one encounters the Santo Maria della Pieve Church (Saint Mary of the Parish Church), which has undergone many transformations over the centuries and whose foundation dates back to the 11th century. Inside the church, are valuable frescos of Mary from the 15th century. Crossing the province towards Chiusa Pesio, instead, one comes to Lake Beinette, a pool of water generated by a resurgence where various trees can be found which are becoming extinct such as the Black Alder.
