Borghetto di Borbera (AL)

This town in the Val Borbera, located in the center of the Turin-Milan-Genoa triangle, which is a geographically strategic position for nature lovers, is a very sought-after summer vacation resort. In fact, it was by pedaling the roads of this area that Fausto Coppi discovered that he was born to ride –the bicycle. Today, Borghetto di Borbera still maintains its precious historical center, where real stand-outs are: the Castello di Torre Ratti with late Renaissance and Baroque features and the Parish Church of San Vittore, dating back to the 11th century, which was readapted and enlarged in the 18th century and inside of which, the original Romanesque apse is kept.
