Cabella Ligure (AL)
As with other towns, the adjective “ligure” indicates an historical and cultural relationship, which has not been forgotten and which, in some cases, is still evident in architectural features, in the speech of the people, and in the local cuisine. Cabella, set upon the Ligurian Apennines, is truly one of these towns. It is dominated by the medieval castle of the Doria-Spinola-Pallavicino, which today has been transformed into a private home while maintaining its original external structure. A tourist destination for people from Piedmont and Liguria, it can be the home base for interesting treks through the Apennines.
