The “della Poiana” nature trail winds among vineyards, hills, and ancient peasant paths and offers enchanting strolls through the scenery of the Tanaro River Valley, which Masio looks out over. The 12th century medieval tower, about 30 meters high, is the symbol of the town and was once part of a more extensive stronghold and is now a national monument. Also the Parish Church di San Dalmazzo in the Gothic style and the medieval Redabue Castle, just outside of town, are both quite interesting.
