Vignale Monferrato (AL)

It is located on one of the highest hills in Monferrato Casalese and every year hosts students, choreographers, dancers, and internationally celebrated companies which come from every part of the world to participate in the internships and performances of Vignaledanza. Wine is the main product of the local economy and the Regional Wine Cellar (Enoteca) of Monferrato, located in the 17th century Palazzo Callori, offers a large showcase of local and Piedmont wine production. Other important buildings are: the 18th century Parish Church di San Bartolomeo, with one of the most beautiful vistas in Monferrato next to it, and the Late Gothic Church dell’Addolorata built at the request of the Marquis Guglielmo VIII Paleologo in 1470 and which has an important 6th century wooden choir section. On the way to Casale, is Fons Salera with therapeutic waters already well-known in the 16th century.
