Saliceto (CN)
This town is located on the Via del Sale (Salt Road) that links Piedmont to Liguria, and is the last town of the Piedmont Valle Bormida. The town symbol is the Castello dei Del Carretto (Castle of the Del Carretto family), that dates back to the thirteen hundreds but that has been repeatedly restored and modified. Notable sixteenth century frescoes can be admired in the castle’s rooms.
