The renowned intense ruby red wine Gabiano D.o.c. comes from here. Characteristic of this town are the vineyards that grow around chalk-clay hillocks. An important centre for the production and distribution of wine is housed in the rooms of the medieval castle that dominates the town. The castle, which has precious weaponry stores, houses an art collection and is home to various cultural events.
