Cesana Torinese (TO)
Cesana Torinese stands at the centre of the great skiing complex of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) in the shadow of the imposing Chaberton. From here skiing enthusiasts can reach the pistes of Monginevro using the Monti della Luna installations and the Sestriere installations via the pistes of the resort of San Sicario. The old village of Cesana is a well-preserved centre and a summer holiday destination. It is the base for picturesque excursions to the Monti della Luna or France, or for exploring the many villages in the valley such as Fenils, Solomiac with its beautiful Casa Dipinta (painted house), Champlas Seguin, Bousson with the church of the Madonna of the Snow.
