Alice Castello (VC)
At the northwest extremity of Italy’s most fertile valley, the Po River Plain, lies the delightful town of Alice Castello. Nestling in a hollow between two hills (Bric delle Massocche and Bric della Vigna), which protect it towards west and north, almost as though forming two wings, framed by the Alps and the Po hills which sit on the horizon, this little town enjoys an enviable natural position. The population of Alice Castello is extremely lively and hospitable, and the yearly calendar is characterised by a never-ending series of events, fairs and markets. Round every corner of the town there are shops, companies and business of every kind, from the typical crafting of cane and wicker, to the production of homemade ice cream or the construction of machines for handling printed circuits.
