Bognanco (VB)
Located in the valley of the Bogna stream, just a few kilometers from Domodossola, Bognanco is known mainly for its warm springs. But, Bognanco is not just a spa; it is a true open museum with cheese factories, ancient wells, sundials, and votive chapels. The most beautiful structure in the valley is the 16th century stronghold, Polveriera, in the village of Camisanca. At the beginning of September, the blueberry plays an important role here. For the Sagra del Mirtillo (Blueberry Festival), it is possible to taste everything that can be prepared using this tasty berry.
