Acceglio (CN)
A border land of trade and trafficking, Acceglio is the last stop in the Maira Valley before crossing into France. The numerous villages which make up the town have medieval beginnings and homes in stone with the typical “lose” (slate) roofs supported by cylindrical pilasters. Acceglio is the ideal starting point for tourism trips and treks towards the refuges located in the upper valley.
