Aisone (CN)
In the area of Aisone are the remains of an old medieval aqueduct that at one time carried water all the way to the village of Morra. Its stones are testament to a past when the town cultivated hemp. The main town rises, instead, above a great stone wall built in the ‘30’s. Upstream from the town, several pieces of land survive where grape vines are still cultivated, an ancient tradition born from the excellent position of the sun throughout the entire area.
