Ogni autunno, sulle colline di Langhe, Monferrato e Roero, i "trifulau" – ovvero i cercatori di tartufi – e i loro cani (veri protagonisti della ricerca) percorrono i sentieri delle colline alla ricerca del prezioso tubero che poi trionfa sulle tavole e in numerose fiere e sagre di richiamo nazionale ed internazionale.
