People
Patty Smith
"Torino is a distinct city, with a lot of character. It’s not like Firenze or other Italian cities that overwhelm you, where you’re overcome by tourists. It is a city that has a very precise personality, a style, a soul."
Giorgio Faletti
"Until I reached a certain age, I thought that people from Asti were called abstemious and so when anyone asked where I was from, I calmly answered: “Abstemious’."
Daria Bignardi
“… Torino is more beautiful than Milan by now and more contemporary that Rome. It is a living example of a city that “is doable” if one knows how. The people of Torino are very blessed because they knew how to spend the money for the Olympics to beautify their city: Milano and its Expo should go to the Mole and take notes”.
