The Great Markets in Cherasco
The city of Cherasco, splendid link between the Langhe and Roero, is famous for its colorful antique and collecting markets - an exaltation of stands where one finds not only every type of merchandize, but also traces of Piemonte culture and tradition.
Castelli Aperti
Until October, several of the most picturesque places in the province of Cuneo will become the suggestive settings of “Castelli Aperti” (“Open Castles"). The event, which offers the public the possibility of combining visits to the historic residencies of southern Piemonte with shows, markets and exhibits, is presenting a delectable program of more than 90 events.
Montagna in movimento
Set up inside the 19th century Albertine fortress at Vinadio, the “Montagna in Movimento” exhibit opens again. A journey introducing its visitors to the world of the southern Alps by way of sounds, voices, images in motion and multimedia installations.
Around the “Sacri Monti”
This summer it is possible to discover the Sacri Monti (Sacred Mountians) of Piemonte by participating in a wandering path designed by HoldenArt of Torino promoting the extraordinary legacy that it fosters: history, art, landscape as well as traditions, legends and ancient professions.
Castelli in scena
The 7th edition of “Castelli in scena” opens the doors of ancient manors and historic homes in the province of Cuneo that become the stage for over 60 theatrical shows, concerts, ballets and markets of typical products. Until October 26th.
Ottobre, piovono libri – I luoghi della lettura
A month – October – dedicated to books, thanks to the third edition of “Ottobre, piovono libri”. (October, it’s raining books) Small towns and big cities, central institutions and small associative, suburban experiences will be hosting and bringing a shower of opportunities to life for the diffusion of a passion for literature.
Pupsintown
Evento ludiko, culturale, creativo e molto di più. Pupsintown promette di radunare ad Omegna, fino al 19 ottobre, i giovani creativi italiani in nome dei Pups, strani esseri che rappresentano l’incrocio tra delle mascotte, dei feticci e degli idoli contemporanei.

Villa Scott
The little manor house, one of the most important examples of Torino Liberty architecture, is linked to the name of Dario Argento who set his film, “Profondo Rosso” (“Deep Red”) here – perhaps his most emotional film and the one with the strongest visual effects.
Abbazia di Novalesa
Near the monastery, there are four chapels dedicated to Saint Mary, Saint Salvador, Saint Michael, and the most important one to Saint Eldrado which has two splendid fresco cycles (from the late 11th century) narrating moments from the lives of Saint Eldrado and Saint Nicholas.
La “Bollente” di Acqui Terme
This is an elegant, octagonal temple-structure inaugurated in 1879. This eclectic structure has a spring where sulfuric-salty-bromine-iodic water flows at a temperature of 74.5 degrees Celsius.
