Cinema King Kong Microplex – via Po 21

One hundred years after it was first opened, the historical cinema in via Po is welcoming spectators in a completely brand new and alternative version. The new King Kong Microplex is today one of the most innovative cinema halls in Europe for its conception and scheduled films. It is not just a simple cinema hall, but a poly-functional space where niche genres, such as documentaries or short films, can be brought under the spotlight, but also a place to entertain the public with a refreshment room, where eating under the big screen light, and even “dancefloor” music nights. The room has a stage for voicing, meetings, mini-concerts, performances and debates, and the armchairs can be easily removed and arranged around the tables to leave space to other activities. Among the fixed events, “Spazio Ferrario” (Ferrario Space), starting on 7th February, by filmmaker Davide Ferrario.
