The core of the initiative is a large art exhibit set up, in part, in the rooms of the Casa del Conte Verde and, in part, in Palazzo Piozzo. The first exhibition space is hosting the exhibit’s historical section with materials aimed at reconstructing the relationship between Piemonte and the Mediterranean and the passion for the Mediterranean as a crossroad of culture and the cradle of civilization which has marked the lives of many Piemonte scholars, archeologists, and travelers. Palazzo Piozzo, instead, is offering the modern section of the show, with works by 19 visual and multimedia artists who have made the Mediterranean their theme, their vocation, and their project.
