The pieces in the show have been selected for their innovative character in relationship to the context and the period in which they were conceived, and for their great popularity. From the moka express of 1936, to the Jellyfish – a Swatch watch – of 1983, all the way to the 1999 Ty Nant bottle by Lovegrove, each of the objects exhibited was chosen because it is immediately recognizable by the greater public. The exhibit intends to popularize a new concept of design, underlining its democratic aspect and its constant presence of our daily life.
