For Torino 2008 World Design Capital, an exhibit compares the past and the present through daily objects. Roberto Sambonet, whose family origins display a significant link to the entrepreneurial reality of Piemonte, is introduced in the fullness of his role as an artist and a designer. A selection of works describes the creative process, from the studio drawings to the finished works. With this show, the Museum is promoting its decorative art collections and the origins of this art, as an art collection of work, with examples of art from the past which were, perhaps, models for nascent industrial production.
