Inside\Off

With the precise aim of promoting circulation of dance and its culture, each evening “Inside\Off” hosts a choreographer working in Torino and one proposed by the networks with which the Associazione MosaicoDanza (MosaicoDanza Association), curator of the event, has cooperated through the Festival Interplay. The guests of the manifestation have been invited to present studies, work in progress in order to permit discussion of the work proposed with the guests attending after the performances. In this direction, “Inside\Off” is accompanied by the critical support of “Altra Velocità” (Other Speed), a group of young militant critics who follow emerging Italian dance festivals. The six appointments planned include the inaugural event which proposes the Torino-based choreographer Eleonora Ariolfo – trained at the school of Teatro Nuovo (New Theater) of Torino and at the Rotterdam Academy - as Italian representative of the “Dance Roads” network, and the French choreographer Gilles Verièpe – who graduated from the Paris Conservatoire Nationale Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in 1991 and who, at the moment, teaches at the Centre Chorégraphique National Carolyn Carlson of Roubaix, at Balleteatro of Porto (in Portugal), D.A.N.C.E, at the CNSM in Lyons – proposed by “Les Repérages Danse à Lille”.
