This initiative will compare the documentary films preserved at the Archivio Nazionale del Cinema d’impresa (institutional foundation of major Italian companies, FIAT, Olivetti, etc.) with the films kept at Amod (audiovisual documents produced by the PCI, by CGIL, etc,) and will present a debate with scholars and politicians on the different – and sometimes opposite – ways of self-representation. Guests will be asked to think about historical documents and also take into account the changes which have taken place within audiovisual communications connected to the employment sector over the last several decades.
