The show “Viaggiatori in pianura. Tre storie d’acqua” (“Travelers on the Plains. Three Stories of Water”) brings Polynesia, New Orleans, and a small country in Indochina together. United by the terrible experience of a flood, the show’s leading characters meet by chance on a train and discover that they are each the survivor of water. The text is full of suggestions and recollections wisely balanced between the pathetic and the ironic as well as by acting that, in perfect Vacis style, evolve in a continuous flow, adding one rhythm to another, stopping for a moment to reflect and then starting up again even stronger. The world premier is on Friday, the 18th of April (and then on Saturday, the 19th of April) at the Teatro Civico in Tortona. Repeat performances on the 21st of April at the Teatro Ariston at Acqui Terme and on the 24th at the Teatro della Soms in Bistagno.
