The Maratona del Riso is characterized by a striking route, unique among track events, that crosses the rice paddies and the historical estates of Vercelli’s rice farming and
culture (such as the Cascina Veneria where Riso Amaro was filmed). Repeating the positive experience of the last edition, the Marathon will start off again this year from Corso De Gaspari (next to the Basilica di Sant’Andrea) in Vercelli, pass through Desana, Lignana, Crova, Salasco, and Sali and return to Vercelli on Via Garibaldi.
