Active since the 1960s, Ugo La Pietra was a founder with E. Sordini, A. Verga, A. Vermi and A. Ferrari of the "Gruppo del Cenobio" ("sign" painters close to the experience of Lucio Fontana). The exhibition presents some of his most significant works from the sixties to today.
Through constant research that starts from the "theory of the unbalancing system" works are present that investigate phenomena from inside: urban space, alternative information and the relationship between public and private space.
Works and installations followed, stimulated by the slogan "Living means being at home anywhere", up to the most recent expressions on "New territoriality".
