40 anni di design DRIADE

Galliano Habitat presents, in a specially prepared display space, the temporary show dedicated to “40 years of Driade”, an exhibition that celebrates the Italian company’s most important products.
Since 1968 Driade has been an aesthetic laboratory that develops research into the theme of the home lifestyle as a whole, understood as a work in progress, making it a subtle, refined pleasure: finished furniture, equipment, kitchens, complementary items and objects.
Furniture and fittings will be exhibited by the designers who have worked for Driade over the last 40 years, from Atonia Astori to Philippe Starck, Enzo Mari and Ron Arad, including some new designs presented in April 2008 at the Salone del Mobile of Milan. The story of the company’s development will be narrated through a series of images on a long wall that will also be the backdrop to the exhibition.
The exhibition opens with an inaugural event (13 May) that sees the special participation of the designer Fabio Novembre.
