Galliano Habitat inaugurates the Museo del Design at the company's historic premises. The purpose of the Museum is to create a point of reference for the promotion and diffusion of understanding of design. Part of the exhibition space is also dedicated to talks, lessons and videos.
On display will be objects known to the public such as the "Sedia Superleggera" di Giò Ponti, the Mezzadro stool and the Taraxacum lamp by Castiglioni, original designs including the final drawings for the Tizio lamp and less well-known objects such as the Divisumma 18 calculator by Bellini or Sapper's Moka 9090.
The vast collection includes some Brionvega products and Alessi objects for the home.
The inaugural event on 13 May will feature the designer Fabio Novembre.
