This travelling event will take place in several towns during the spring, at weekends. Here you will find exhibitions, cultural meetings, forums, festivals, events and performances, and you will also have plenty of opportunities to taste local food-and-wine products inspired by rice and roses. Nature and sport enthusiasts will surely enjoy the cycle trips that have been organised to introduce visitors to the “mare a quadretti” (squared sea) of the Balzola and Terranova rice-fields. They will also appreciate the traditional “Cavalcata della Rosa” (Rose Ride): a horse ride in the Parco Fluviale del Po (Po River Park). During the entire duration of event, in the numerous restaurants of the Monferrato area you will have a chance to try the Menù di Riso e Rose (Rice and Roses Menu): local gourmet cuisine and fine wines inspired by rice and roses.
