Superfici Sconnesse

Lisa Parola’s exhibit “Superfici Sconnesse” project which compares 22 artists and the same number of people with mental illness. Installations, performances, videos and paintings give shape to an inedited constellation of images and visions that develops in a “disconnected” manner among the rooms of Palazzo Barolo: from the corridors to the cellars, from historic halls to the terrace. The visitor is invited to observe mental illness from a unique viewpoint. Superficie Sconnesse plans to produce a documentary filmed by Massimo Arvat regarding some stages of the conceptual and planning phases of the exhibit. On May 16, the show will host a convention with personalities of Psychiatry and Contemporary Culture, to reflect on the experience and to document several pilot projects in Italy. Free Admission
