Exhibits, concerts, theatrical and circus shows, sports and culture: this weekend is an explosion of proposals for every taste and any age. A lovely exhibit called Manti Regali a Corte is the most fascinating and original opportunity to fully appreciate the Galleria Grande (Grand Gallery) of the Reggia di Venaria, while the Giovanni Allevi & Orchestra concert (July 4th) is certainly the most exciting way to enjoy the beauty of its Gardens. In keeping with the subject of music, the “Anfiteatro e Stelle” exhibit is bringing multifaceted artist Michael Nyman to Borgo San Dalmazzo (Cn) for a concert (July 6th). Devildriver + Extrema Metal music (July 4th) and Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters steady rock (July 5th) are a thunderous appeal for a weekend in Sordevolo, in the province of Biella. For ethnic music fans, the appointment is in Torino for the free concert of the musician from Burkina Faso, Sokan, featured among the stars of Torino World Music Meeting (July 5th). Clubbers are summoned to Villa Capriglio (To) for a night in the company of Johnny D and Krakatoa. The magic of the theatre and that of the ring lead to Moncalieri and Grugliasco (To), respectively for spectacular engagements of “Teatro a Corte” and “Sul Filo del Circo”, that are presenting the Spanish company Senza Tempo (July 6th) and artists from the Scuola di Cirko Vertigo (July 5 - 6 ) respectively. Sports are on in the Olympic valley with the adventuresome Cartoon Rapid Race of Cesana Torinese (July 5 -6) and in the province of Verbano with the exciting Europei Juniores di Ciclismo (Junior Cycling European Championship), that are taking place at Arona, Stresa, Pettenasco and Verbania (July 3 – 6). The re-opening of the Quadreria di Palazzo Borromeo offers a chance to spend a weekend dedicated to art along the shores of the Lago Maggiore, while the long White Nights of Tortona, with their special guest Bluvertigo, could be an idea for a weekend in the Monferrato area.
