Nella Rocca di Landolfo
Piazza Mazzini – Chiocciola di San Giorgio
from 24.05.2008 to 25.05.2008
On Saturday May 24, Chieri will be donning 14th century costumes from its past, with a series of live tableaux and initiatives aimed at the representation of inspiring moments of medieval life. Refreshment spots offer refined medieval menus while waiting for the trumpet’s blare and the drum roll announcing the crowning moment of the re enactment: the arrival of Giacomo Ristolassio, the blacksmith condemned by a justice court of the Inquisition to burn at the stake in a spectacular (and fortunately this time – make believe) public execution. On Sunday May 25th, the medieval borough will be open and visitors will be able to attend weaving shows, with the creation of a large mosaic- artwork of Fiber Art.
