Assaggia Tortona has been taking place since 1996, becoming one of the highlight events of the promotion of Tortona’s typical food and wine products typical. As of last year, the festival unfolds downtown, offering a new and tasty opportunity to get acquainted with and better appreciate the city of Tortona from a historical – cultural viewpoint as well. Among the many engagements, the evenings of May 30 and 31 stand out thanks to entertaining performances by Gabriele Cirilli, Fichi d’India and many more artists from the Zelig ensemble. On June 2nd, at the event’s closing, a concert by the Orchestra Classica di Alessandria is scheduled in occasion of the Festa della Repubblica national holiday.
