An authentic book festival peacefully invades Biella and the entire province, with an expansive fan of proposals capable of satisfying everyone, from the more adept reader to families and children. The event proposes the exhibit “Libri Bianchi” (White Books) at Palazzo Boglietti, a series of encounters at the Piazzo Città Studi (with the Reading Park of the Circolo dei Lettori) and in the main cafès in Biella where “Aperitivi Illuminanti” (Enlightening Aperitifs) are held. There are also more reading sessions to liven up some unusual spots like the Parco della Burcina park, the Chiostro del Santuario cloister in Oropa, nursing homes, prisons and hospitals. For children, the date is set for the “Nati per Leggere” (Born to Read) encounters, while the city of Biella offers a series of “literary raids” in taxis, funicular railways, stations and many other places that Reading doesn’t often reach. The event closes on July 8 with the preview of Torino’s festival “Traffic”, which is bringing Baustelle’s musical about reading to Biella.
