“Shapes of Time” has invited more than 140 artists, some of which hail internationally, to express a thought - using their own medium - about the theme of “Time”. The Biennial, which has restored one of Alessandria’s most significant monuments, the Cittadella (Bastion) has also involved the Museo del Cappello Borsalino (Borsalino Hat Museum), the Esperide exposition hall, the convent compound of San Francesco, the Teatro delle Scienze and the Tinaio degli Umiliati. Organised into nine sections, the exhibit dedicates a tribute to France: this first edition’s guest. The last section presents five solo exhibits, the one of renowned photographer Anton Corbijn standing out among them. Performances by Coniglio Viola, Marzia Miglioria and Barbara La Ragione promise to be of interest.
