Rampignado Marathon 2008
Valle Grana

Fans of the rampichino mountain bike know the “Rampignado” tracks on the Valle Grana slopes very well by now. This year’s route is almost entirely on dirt roads that are hard and draining. The race concentrates the few kilometres it does have on paved road in the space immediately following the departure. This way the first uphill climbs can be undertaken without problems of congestion on the road. The Marathon is inserted between training for Coppa Piemonte and the Campionato Italiano Granturismo for clubs. “RampignHard”, due to its difficulty, is reserved for professional agonistic racers only.
