Forty interactive, synchronised video-settings and more than 60 video programmes mark the expositional journey articulated into six thematic areas: “Intro”, “Le Alpi al centro” (The Alps at the Centre), “Ambiente e territorio” (Environment and Territory), “L’uomo e le Alpi” (Man and the Alps), “Crisi di una civiltà” (Crisis of a Civilisation), “Le frontiere del futuro” (The Frontier of the Future). Use of interactive technologies transforms the spaces within this military fortress into sensitive places and vessels of collective experiences at times even recreational and spellbinding. The images and testimonies have been gathered in the Po, Varaita, Maira, Grana, Stura, Gesso, Vermenagna and Pesio valleys, without excluding the relationship with the French side. Fourteen lecturns placed along the way are available for in depth examinations, constituting an interface. All the guest has to do is brush up against the virtual pages to unfreeze the images deposited on their surface. This way, page after page the visitor can get involved in the narration.
