During the exhibition “Olivetti. Una bella Società (a fine company/a better society)” the museum will organise guided tours on special opening days.
The museum offers an insight into typewriters, mechanical and electronic calculators and the history of the PC, with particular attention to the Olivetti company’s products.
The exhibition also looks at the evolution of industrial design, starting with the work of Nizzoli and moving on to the work of Bellini and Sottsass, and the designers who created modern PCs. The visitor can see and touch some of the most important and well known machines developed by Olivetti over the last century, such as the M1, the one millionth Divisumma, the Valentine, the P101, and most of Olivetti’s laptops.
