Many events are being organised for the celebration of 7 years of the the Torino province’s “Paniere dei Prodotti tipici” (Hamper of Typical Products) project, founded in 2001 to enhance the value of local “flavours”. On the agenda: presentation of the programme on June 4th at Eataly (Torino), the Mercatino del Paniere (Hamper market) Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th in Agliè old town centre (with manufacturers with the Eccellenza Artigiana seal of approval) and the Giorgio Conte concert on Saturday June 7 in the Parco del Castello di Torre Canavese. Besides these dates, several shuttle buses will be at the tourists’ disposal to visit some of Canavese’s most beautiful areas. Departure from Agliè (the price is €5 – sample tasting included) and a free shuttle service to and from Torino is planned. Departure is at 9:30 am from the corner of Corso Stati Uniti and Corso Re Umberto. The bus back to Torino leaves at 6:30 pm.
