There are 25 different itineraries being proposed whose common theme is the flavour and originality of this territory. The unmistakeable profile of Monte Rosa, the imposing waterfall Cascata del Toce, the Parco Naturale Devero-Veglia natural park or the so-called “Valle dei Pittori” (Valley of the Painters) are ready to welcome tourists to give them, along with the specialties of the local cuisine, the pleasure of touring places that have a special flavour of their own. But hiking isn’t the only activity on the calendar. “Il Gusto è a Monte” is also scheduling a series of excursions to discover local villages and handicrafts, or to get acquainted with the Walser culture or even to learn the secrets of military architecture. These outings are organised by the Province of Verbano Cusio Ossola and are offered at a special promotional price of €10.00 per person.
