Thirty-six shows and nineteen companies from Italy, Europe, South America and Asia make up this year’s edition of the puppet and marionette exhibition, involving thirteen townships of the Piemonte hills. Within this framework, there is space for every possible variation of puppet theatre from traditional shows to more avant garde ones, created for the streets or for the stage. The transversal nature of the puppet world is what unites the two, capable of reaching children and adults at the same time by way of different interpretations. Many side events are scheduled with “Vin&Puppets”: sample tasting of typical products brought to the public by local manufacturers.
