The festival is an important opportunity of comparison for all cinema insiders and fans. The heart of the event, which will take place in the stunning setting of the Lago Maggiore, is the professional encounters between representatives of both Italian and Swiss movie industries, conceived in order to create an informal and relaxed ambiance suitable to a discussion where professionals can exchange ideas with tranquillity. Among some of the other scheduled events: an evening dedicated to “Dark Resurrection” – the 7th apocryphal episode of the Star Wars saga – and awarding director Silvio Soldini with the Cigno d’Oro (Golden Swan) 2008 for the value of his work that has always been filmed in Italy or in Switzerland.
