The “fabbrica delle idee” (idea factory) was the name sarcastically given to the psychiatric hospital of Racconigi during the last century. With the shutdown of insane asylums, the “Progetto Cantoregi – Voci Erranti” has transformed this space and the expression used to call it into a theatre project aimed at civil and social commitment. This year, the “Fabbrica delle Idee” is also involving the Corte della Torre Civica court, the Cortile d’Onore courtyard of the former barracks in Saluzzo, and the Casa di Reclusione “Rodolfo Morandi” prison in Saluzzo, where the show “Van Gogh, il suicidato della società” will be performed with the participation of actors from the prison. Among the most anticipated appointments is also “Linate 8 ottobre 2001, la strage”, a representation of the airplane crash in which 118 people lost their lives.
