Languages imply culture and in Turin they are becoming the main instrument through which promoting the social integration of immigrants, the meeting of different cultures, the exchange of experiences, and the learning of one or more languages other than the native one. Bar Linguistico (Linguistic Bar), an experimental project, offers people of different origin the possibility to chat in their own native language in an informal place, allowing anyone willing to practice a second language to do it in a context different from the usual, not educational, capable of creating opportunities to better know the different cultural aspects of the different languages and nations by showing films, artist videos and through the presence of creative young people living and working in Piemonte and abroad who, during these meetings, will do their best to give further hints for discussion, knowledge, community.
