In occasion of the exhibition “Per una collezione di fotografia”, 120 works were selected offering significant testimony to the works of eight authors: Claudio Abate, Aurelio Amendola, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Sandro Becchetti, Luigi Ghirri, Mario Giacomelli, Francesco Jodice and Ugo Mulas. The photographers come from different generations: from one that debuted in the 1950’s, marking pivotal reference points in the research for decades to come to a group of artists who hit the limelight towards the end of the century, comparing themselves with a new concept of image and photographic method, introduced by digitalisation processes and electronic elaboration in filmmaking.
