Festival delle Province

The need to recover the roots of a popular culture profoundly related to the territory and handed down from generation to generation is the leitmotiv of the performances of music, theatre and literature of this Festival delle Province. The event opens at the Borgo Medievale di Torino with Fausto Amodei, cantor of Torino’s worker tradition. Enzo Jannacci, I poeti a braccio, the Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel and Vincenzo Cerami are only some of the names animating the event that will be reaching different locations in the provinces of Torino and Cuneo. The committee of the Festival delle Province also proposes the Festival dell’Oralità Popolare. This exhibition in Torino from July 25 to the 27th, safeguards any artistic expression without written publication, handed down by way of song, dance and poetic works.
