The Rocche del Roero are narrow dorsals of glacial origins that extend for over 30 km, from Pocapaglia to Cisterna d’Asti. They have deep hollows and jagged slopes in a landscape that has not yet completely lost its wild nature to the hand of man. The night walks designed by the Ecomuseum add charm to an environment that is already suggestive, leading participants through them paths that become the setting for theatrical performances, stories of “masche” (witches), philosophical thoughts and naturalistic excursions dedicated to guided stargazing. Departures are scheduled for Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Some walks, the ones including the “merenda sinoira” (snack with assorted foods) or sample tasting of honey and herbal teas have an admission fee.
