The Sguardi d’Estate event offers a threefold opportunity to spend the summer in the city in the best possible fashion, learning how to visit museums from a “fresh” and original viewpoint. Not only educational, but a chance for encounters and fun as well. GAM proposes a large exhibit dedicated to Ugo Mulas and different activities focused on the theme of “portraits” (from learning workshops for different ages of young people to the evening screenings in the evocative surroundings of the Arena Paolini). Palazzo Madama is entertaining its guests with the enjoyable “Quizzino d’Estate”, to discover the Museum’s permanent and temporary collections in an all-involving manner. In this same period, moreover, the new Rosso Corallo arrangement is debuting: a fascinating exposition on the history of velvet. The Borgo Medievale is renewing its usual summer engagement with multiethnic concerts of Gong!, taking an in-depth look at the theme of inter-culture with Metissage, an initiative proposing an original Maroc-Chino weekend, one dedicated to the cultures of Morocco and China. The appointments with Burattini al Borgo cannot be missed, bringing laughter to all the children remaining in the city. Admission to each of the three museums allows for free guided tours.
